MY CAREER PATH
2006
Head Start
At just 17, I found myself navigating corporate life, teaching Finnish to adults and kids, while working for the Finnish Consulate and corporate clients. Those early years taught me the power of language and connection — skills that continue to shape everything we do today.
2009
Cultural Catalyst
In 2009, I took a bold step and moved to Indonesia on an international scholarship. The experience immersed me in rich cultural and linguistic diversity, sparking my curiosity and shaping my approach to global branding and storytelling.
2010
Marketing & Consulting in Educational Sector
A pivotal change in 2010 took me to Istanbul, where I enrolled in a Master’s in Marketing program. I worked in the international office, assisting with content creation, marketing, student consulting, and event management. It was a time of rapid growth, and I thrived on the energy of new challenges. In 2013, I moved to Sydney, Australia to pursue post-graduate business administration courses and dove more into educational consulting.
2014
Marketing & Branding in Construction
Working on large-scale marketing projects for a construction holding, where I managed everything from employer branding and consumer research to strategic project development and film production. Teaching was still part of the picture, but now, I was weaving together creative content and strategic marketing.
2016
Marketing & Sales for a Steel Market Data Provider
Handled international partnerships and regional sales, growing my company’s presence in Latin and North America. But in 2017, life changed with the arrival of my child, leading to a three-year maternity leave. While it was a pause, it wasn’t a stop. During that time, I pursued courses in photography, graphic design, and social media marketing, preparing for the next chapter.
2021
Digital Marketing, Content Creation in Retail
A move from Turkey to Canada marked the beginning of a new adventure. You might think that after a long break and a cross-continental move, starting over is inevitable—but that’s not always the case. My skills in branding, marketing, and consulting are transferable, and I found myself back in the game almost immediately.
